It all started........
The Trails End Homeowners Association was incorporated as a domestic nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of Georgia on July 26, 2000. The covenants and restrictions for Trails End Subdivision were filed on November 3, 2000, in Gilmer County, Georgia, by then developer and association president Dave Isom. Two addendums have subsequently been filed and recorded with the county.
The subdivision developer, Dave Isom of Mastercraft Properties, officially turned the Association and common property (clubhouse, pool, wells, roads, etc.) over to its members at the first annual meeting for the election of officers in March 2007.
The Association is managed by a Board of five directors elected annually. The Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director at Large.
Elections for new Board members are held annually on the third Saturday of March at 10:00 a.m. in the Association clubhouse.
The Trails End Homeowners Association is composed of 54 members, one for each parcel of property contained in the Trails End Subdivision. Membership is mandatory for all property owners. New owners are required to pay a one time special assessment/initiation fee of $500 per lot. Association dues are set annually by the Board of directors based on budgetary projections. All dues and fees must be paid up to date in order for members to remain in "good standing" and have a say in any Association business.
